Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the Scriptures, both the Old and the New Testaments, as the inspired Word of God, and as the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that God the Father is the Creator of all things and therefore the standard for all truth.

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; that He is fully God and fully man.

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells believers and seals us for the day of redemption, imparts spiritual gifts for ministry and empowers us to live a life pleasing to God.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned, and is thereby separated from God.

We believe that men and women are saved from the penalty for sins through the grace of God and not by any human merit or works. All those who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior have assurance of salvation through the atoning work of Christ on the cross, whose shed blood pays the price for our sins; a price we cannot pay on our own.

We believe all those who have put their faith in Christ make up the Church universal and should assemble together for worship, edification, prayer, fellowship and teaching. The Church is called to continue Christ's earthly ministry by striving for holiness and sharing the Gospel message with those who have not yet accepted it.
